About Me

I am a Virtual Assistant (VA). I work alongside businesses, organizations and industry professionals on a contract basis. I manage various short and long term projects such as website development, market research, data management, technical and report writing. As an independent contractor, I can work remotely from my home office or, onsite or from mobile locations.  Should a project require that I visit on-site, I am more than happy to do that.

I am Anishnaabe Cree, born and raised in Treaty #9.  I speak mostly Ojibway and still learning the Swampy Cree language.  I am a member of the Aroland First Nation band #242.  I hold a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ottawa.  I am also a certified teacher and hold a Certificate in Native Teacher Education also from the University of Ottawa.  More recently, I graduated from the Ontario Self-Employment Program at the YMCA in Ottawa and the Indigenous Pastoral Program at Saint Paul University.  Since then, I have helped many businesses and organizations with their business goals.  I have plenty of work experience in government, non-profit, mining, communications and in education.  I am very proud to have been featured on the Aboriginal Professional Association of Canada's website alongside many other Indigenous professionals.  Please read my full interview here.
